About Me

Thank you for taking a moment to explore my website, including a selection of some of my favorite images! I've always loved the outdoors, and have developed a passion for capturing moments of beauty as I wander about exploring the world around me. I love photographing a wide range of subjects, but am most inspired by landscapes, especially anything involving water. Some of my favorite settings include waterfalls, rivers, mountains, and coastal scenes. I also enjoy urban settings where architectural elements such as bridges blend with the natural world.

I've lived along the Pacific Coast all my life, spending my early years along California's Central Coast. I was first exposed to photography through taking snapshots with my (then) girlfriend's point-and-shoot film camera while out exploring the outdoors. After college, I moved up to the Pacific Northwest, where my budding interest turned into a passionate hobby.

I'm currently based out of Portland, Oregon, where I'm spoiled with access to an incredible diversity of natural beauty. Within a couple hours' drive I can get to snowcapped mountains, pristine lakes, raging rivers, rugged coastline, and cascading waterfalls. Add in stunning wildlife, desert plateaus, and vibrant wildflowers, and it's easy to find inspiration in any season.
